Child Safety Standards

Last updated: 18 March 2026

1. Our Commitment

Rezonect ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting children and young people. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form on our platform or in connection with our services.

This page sets out our published safety standards against CSAE. These standards apply to the Rezonect mobile application and all related services (the "Services"). We expect all users to comply with these standards and with our Terms of Service. Violations may result in immediate account termination, removal of content, and reporting to law enforcement and relevant authorities.

2. Age Restriction

The Services are not intended for anyone under the age of 16. Users must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use Rezonect. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If we become aware that a user is under 16, we will delete their account and associated data promptly.

By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 16 years of age. We may use the date of birth provided at registration to enforce this requirement.

3. Prohibited Content and Conduct

We prohibit all content and conduct that involves or facilitates child sexual abuse or exploitation, including but not limited to:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any depiction of child sexual abuse or exploitation
  • Content that sexualises or exploits minors in any way
  • Grooming, solicitation, or coercion of minors for sexual purposes
  • Trafficking or exploitation of children
  • Content that promotes, glorifies, or facilitates CSAE
  • Attempts to share, request, or distribute CSAM or related material

There is no exception for "educational", "artistic", or other contexts. Such content is strictly prohibited and will be removed. Accounts involved will be terminated and reported as described below.

4. How We Prevent and Detect

4.1 Account and age verification

We require a valid date of birth at registration. We do not permit users under 16 to open or maintain an account. We may use additional signals and verification where appropriate to enforce age requirements.

4.2 Content and conduct policies

Our Terms of Service and in-app policies explicitly prohibit CSAE and any content or behaviour that harms minors. User-generated content (including profile information, Moments, and chat) is subject to these policies.

4.3 Moderation and tools

We use a combination of human review and technical measures to identify and remove prohibited content and to take action against violating accounts. We may use industry tools and partnerships to help detect CSAM where applicable.

4.4 Reporting

We rely on users and the public to report suspected CSAE. Reports are reviewed promptly and handled in line with these standards and applicable law.

5. How We Respond

When we identify or receive a report of content or conduct that may involve CSAE:

  • We remove the content immediately and take steps to prevent its further distribution on our systems.
  • We suspend or permanently terminate the accounts of users who post, share, or solicit such content or who engage in exploitative conduct.
  • We report to relevant law enforcement and child safety authorities as required or appropriate, including to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and equivalent bodies in the jurisdictions where we operate.
  • We preserve evidence and information as needed for investigations and legal proceedings.

We do not disclose the details of specific reports or actions publicly where doing so could compromise investigations or the safety of victims.

6. Reporting Concerns

Rezonect allows users to report child safety concerns in-app. If you see content or behaviour that you believe involves child sexual abuse or exploitation, please report it immediately.

6.1 In-app reporting

You can report directly from the app:

  • Report a Moment: Open the report option on the Moment and select Child safety / Child exploitation (alongside other categories such as Spam, Inappropriate content, Harassment, Nudity, Violence). You can add an optional description. You may also choose to block the user after reporting.
  • Report a person: Open the report option on the user's profile and select Child safety / Child exploitation (alongside other categories such as Fake profile, Harassment, Inappropriate content, Other, Spam). You can add an optional description and choose to block the user after reporting.

Child safety reports are prioritised and handled in line with Section 5. You do not need to report by email if you have already reported in-app; we will review and act on in-app reports in the same way.

6.2 Reporting by email

You can also send a report to safety@rezonect.com. Include as much detail as you can (e.g. username, description of content or conduct, links or screenshots if safe to provide). We treat all reports seriously and review them as quickly as possible.

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement or emergency services first.
